SENIOR MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Senior Motion Designer, Motion Graphics is responsible for the creation, development, and deployment of designs, animations, and real-time graphics directories at a high proficiency level. This position provides creative support for daily production and long-range assignments, contributes to group projects, and frequently works independently on assignments. This is a hands-on position requiring individuals who possess strong conceptualization skills, the ability to offer unique creative solutions, change direction easily, push their creativity and software skills to higher levels, exploit new technology, and actively communicate on all phases of a project to maintain the quality of U-NEXT’s branding and advertisements. The Senior Motion Designer is a high-level creative who is expected to set the bar on quality and creativity.

▽The Requirements

・Strong fundamental skills in video timing, pace, frame composition, color, and motion.
・Actively involved with the conceptual development of design initiatives within the U-NEXT Creative Services Department.
・Strong design sensibility
・Enthusiasm as a collaborator
・Creates and evolves graphics looks for studio and remote productions.
・Displays ability to research and answer technical questions concerning design/animation techniques or systems in use.
・An unflinching acceptance that branding a customer service tools company can be fun and cool
・Maintains high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity and timely delivery of all requests.
・Must be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and able to effectively prioritize multiple assignments.

▽Basic Qualifications

・Strong hands-on knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema4D or other 3D software is a bonus.
・Online portfolio/demo reel showcasing your creativity, design and type layout skills.
・Minimum of 5 years of hands-on design, graphics, animation, or motion graphics.
・Passion and desire to create visually appealing imagery to enhance U-NEXT image.
・Minimum JLPT N3

UI/UX DESIGNER

Who You Are:

A talented mid-level UI/UX designer who wants to help shape a user-centered design practice in our company. You’re a strategic thinker and a problem solver. You enjoy mentoring and leading designers, you have at least three to five years of relevant experience and superb communication skills.

As a Senior UI/UX designer, you’ll:

・Design inventive, intuitive, and fun product experiences for millions of people.
・Adapt feature designs for different platforms and environments.
・Quickly prototype feature designs for a concept and usability testing.
・Work with our broader team to determine user problems and goals and then deliver original solutions.
・Use data to learn, refine, and iterate on your designs.
・Present and explain design decisions to the rest of the company.
・Give and receive feedback with other designers, and continually raise the bar for quality within your team.
・Be proactive and provide solutions to organize and refine our product design resources and processes.

What We’re Looking For:
・Very strong visual design skills
・Print skills are a plus but not mandatory
